The National Gallery of Victoria is located in Melbourne and is Australia's oldest and most famous gallery. The gallery is situated in two beautiful structures - the NGV International and NGV Australia. The National Gallery of Victoria is home to wonderful collections of important artworks by national and international artists and hosts exhibitions and events.

The gallery was founded in 1861 and is famous for its Australian art collection which houses modern and contemporary art as well as indigenous artifacts and art. The International art collection showcases European, Asian, Mesoamerican, and Pacific arts, antiquities, and sculpture. There are even Greek and Egyptian artworks on display.
